Igor Krutogolov's Karate Band was formed in February, 2005. It consists of 11 musicians and plays music in wide range of styles (from tango to even heavy stuff like black metal) in noisy way, using arsenal of toys as the sole instruments. The band features, among others, the entire Kruzenshtern & Parohod roster.
Their first CD, entitled Children 4 Muzik, contains 7 humorous tracks played on toy instruments with noisy sound and could be described as "noisy experimental comedy". Despite the nature of the musical instruments used on this record, music here is much more than mere gimmickry.
