"Chanelle" is from New Jersey and garnered musical fame when the whole "House music" revolution took hold. Acts such as "Adeva, Kecia Jenkins,Symphonia,Blaze,CeCe Rogers all came out of the underground club scene. Such D.J's as Tony Humhries, David Morales, Frankie Knuckles and David Shaw and Paul Simpson etc were all burning up the clubs with their New Jersey House Music sounds. THis sound went round the world and had everyone Dancing! Chanelle got a gold record from "one Man" that was on the Billboard charts for 52 weeks.
