The La La Lies emerge from out of the blue accompanied by solid rock tunes and steaming gigs. Within a few months OOR Magazine labels them: ‘One of the best new Dutch bands around. You won’t hear many better songs this year’. These songs have been picked up by Radio 3FM’s Eric Corton and one of them was even declared ‘Single of the week’ on Amsterdam’s Radio Mortale. Both ‘Turn up the music and dance’ and ‘Lies’ reached the number 1 position in the Dutch Indie Chart and the video to ‘Lies’ has had 7000 views a short amount of time.
