Christian Meyer (not to be confused with Peruvian actor/singer Christian Meier), born in Milan, Italy on the 27th of January 1963, is best known as the drummer with popular rock band Elio e le Storie Tese. He began playing drums at the age of seven and started his first drum lessons with Enrico Lucchini approximately two years later. At the age of 18 he moved to Frankfurt and landed his first jazz-oriented gig. After two years he came back to Italy.
