Dumbell: The Punk Rock Tragic Comedy When it comes to bands that stick to their guns through good times and bad times, Dumbell is on the top of the list. Formed in 1996 by Paul Grace Smith after departing from Sonny Vincent’s Shotgun Rationale where he played with the likes of Cheetah Chrome (The Dead Boys) Bobby Stinson (The Replacements) Greg Norton (Hüsker Dü) Richard Hell, Moe Tucker(Velvet Underground)...all before the age of 25. Dumbell has been around for well over a decade with few dry spells in between releasing records and touring Europe.
