They are perhaps best known for recording the first version of Chip Taylor's song "Wild Thing", which would later be a smash hit for The Troggs. Their version of "Wild Thing" was produced by Gerry Granahan. Their 1965 album The Arthur Sound hit #149 on the US Billboard 200 2 The Wild Ones formed at the start of 2007 when three friends who share a love of music decided to form a band... The Wild Ones played live for the first time on May 17th 2008 at Palhetas Café.
