The band was established in 1997 in Pula, Croatia. The members were already grown-up men when the band started, new to playing music. Now they are very grown-up men, someone said „wise men with children's hands“. All members have graduated (journalism, design, mechanical engineering, foreign languages, economics) and they do their regular daily jobs..... Chweger is also the name of an indoor football team in which the band members play.
