2 Star Tabernacle 2 Star Tabernacle
2 Star Tabernacle was a countrified rock n roll band from Detroit formed by Dan Miller and Jack White (both on guitars and lead vocals) from the remains of Goober & The Peas. Rounding out the band were Tracee Miller on bass and Damien Steele on drums.
2 Star Tabernacle played in and around Detroit between 1997 and March of 1999. They only made one official release, a two song 7" single on Bloodshot as the backing band for Andre Williams. The songs on the release are "Lilly White Mama & Jet Black Daddy" on side A (written by Andre Williams) and "Ramblin' Man" written by Hank Williams.
