Cult Hero Cult Hero
Cult Hero was a sideproject by members of The Cure in 1979, featuring (amongst others) local Crawley, England postman Frank Bell as lead-"singer" and Robert Smith's sisters Margaret and Janet (the latter of which would later on marry founding Cure guitarist Porl Thompson) on backing vocals. The band was created to see how well Smith and eventual Cure bassist Simon Gallup would collaborate and they disbanded sometime before the release of The Cure's second album "Seventeen Seconds" in 1980.
