Sun Rushing In is mainly a live performance act that began as a collaborative effort between Susan DeLeo and Lauri des Marais. Their style of live performance is one that Lauri has been evolving since she first began accompanying her prerecorded music in a live setting. It's currently akin to a cross between Cirque du Soleil (loosely and thematically) and Meredith Monk. Sun Rushing In combines Lauri's Musique concrête sound design (which she calls Stories in Sound) and Susan's acoustic guitar and vocals, creating an atmospheric melancholy and joy.
