It has been over seven years since the band has released a full album. The last was under the name 'Battered Fish' and that album, 'Modern' was regarded consistently as one of the best Australian releases for that year. Since that last effort, the world has entered a new millenium, the band has gained a new member, Simon Jockel, and changed its name to Leo Nine. A debut self titled EP was released 2001 and again was highly regarded on both the critical and casual auditory plains. The band has been waiting patiently, though, for the chance to work on another full length statement.
