Darina Marquez Uribe (born July 28, 1980) is a Mexican singer, songwriter. She made her debut in 2002, in the reality show Operacion Triunfo Mexico (Star Academy) and released her first album Darina in 2003.
Darina was born in Hidalgo, Pachuca. She has an older brother, Jorge, and her mother, Dra. Uribe. Darina began working in a bar-restaurant, 'el cuartel de Villa', where she began having her first fans; Then she work on a radio station in Pachuca.
