Nathan Jonas Jordison (born on April 26, 1975 in Des Moines, Iowa) more commonly known as Joey Jordison, is an American drummer and guitarist. He is best known for his role as the drummer for nu metal band Slipknot during the 1990s and 2000s. He is also well known as the guitarist for Murderdolls, a glam metal/horror punk band which he founded in the 2000s. While in high school, Jordison played drums in his high school's drumline and jazz band. This helped profoundly to improve his drumming ability, which has since made him the top rated drummer by music media across the world.[1][2]
