A dark and catchy four-piece from San Francisco’s Mission District, elephone’s dark guitar textures, dynamic vocals and literary vision have earned them comparisons to Radiohead, The Arcade Fire and The Cure in local and national press. Over the course of seven months following the release of ‘The Shivering EP’ (DIY Or Else), the band went through several line-up changes. While most bands would lose focus at this point, elephone took the opportunity to narrow their song writing down to a basic, concise form.
