To put it simply Neal Evans, also known as Neal., is a beast on the keys. His split mind - bass on one side and keys on the other - has allowed Soulive to be far more than your typical organ trio. Classically trained, Neal was forced to play bass one night when the bassist was a no show. Since then, Neal has been delivering the low end in a serious way with Soulive. In 2004, he was the subject of the documentary "Right Brain, Right Beat", detailing his creative process, inspirations, and uncanny ability to play both bass and keys at the same time.
