Daphna & The Cookies are an Israeli Rock band, formed in2004. Their recognition is based mostly on live performances. They won rather wide critical and popular acclaim. Their songs are filled with humorous and political contents, and they're often compared with such bands as The Biluim (הבילויים) or Ha Machshefot (המכשפות). Their first single, "דפנה פיק", was released in May 2006, and their first (and only, to date) album, "דפנה והעוגיות", was released in July 2006. The band members are:
