Born in Salerno, Italy, Dario Lupo's musical instinct started to become evident as a young teenager. His first production endevours comprised of commercial dance tracks, a musical style particularly popular in Italy, but his ambition and his soul soon guided his path to his true passion -- trance. His first contact with the trance music world was provided by the track "Gouryella - Ligaya", which struck him to a degree that he instantly felt a connection with the harmonic soundscapes, very characteristic of the genre.
