DJ Rise is DJ and producer Ryan Anthony, who joined Toucan in May 2003. Rise saved up for his first synth when he got his first job, and after saving up to buy another synth and a PC, began handing out his music for clubs to play. After joining Klub DJ, a professional DJ / dancers agency based in Daventry, he was made moderator for their forums. Rise started his own radio station called Dance Frequency in association with Klub DJ, and took charge of the DJ line up for Music Live (in association with the BBC) in South West Wales for two years running.
