His multi-layered compositions and uniquely percussive solo pieces are rooted in a strong melodic sense and performed with awe-inspiring articulation. In addition to his work as a guitarist Danny is among a handful of westerners adept in the art of throat singing, a technique producing two notes simultaneously, wherein the overtones of the voice are manipulated to create melodies while holding a single pitch.
