Coral Springs, FL punk-pop band A New Found Glory formed in the summer of 1997, comprising vocalist Jordan Pundik, guitarists Chad Gilbert and Steve Klein, bassist Ian Grushka and drummer Cyrus Bolooki. Renowned for their energetic live shows, the group toured up and down the East Coast, quickly selling out the entire pressing of their debut EP All About the Girl. The full-length Nothing Gold Can Stay followed in 1999; A New Found Glory signed to major-label MCA soon after, re-releasing the album that autumn.
