David Lichens (born in Portland, Oregon) is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. Lichens is the son of a notable jazz guitarist, which exposed him to the music scene from an early age. He started playing the piano when he was very young. When he was 9 years old, his parents bought him an electric guitar and he committed himself to learn. His father taught him how to work the instrument and he developed his sense for music from there on.
