Eva Cortez was born in Tegucigalpa (Honduras), grew up in Seville and now lives between Madrid and Paris. Her music reflects the influences of cultural mixing and the different genres of music developed throughout her career as a singer. During her childhood, growing up in a family of great musical tradition, was exposed to Latin American folk music. Yet we hear in her first compositions at age 16 years old, a strong influence of the blues. In January 2006 she flew to Santiago de Chile to record and co-produced "Alone With You", her first solo album was mixed and mastered later in Paris.
