Mel Wesson (born February 12, 1958 in London) is a part of Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions (formerly Media Ventures) team. His main role is as an ambient music designer, a duty he has performed on several of the team's scores including Blood Diamond, the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, The Da Vinci Code (film) and The Ring Two. He has also composed additional music for a number of films including Batman Begins, and arranged music for several others (including Freedomland).
