Five years is a long time for an unsigned band to be together. A decade is almost unheard of. Picture It In Ruins has been together for 11. Twins Cody (bass) and Caleb Stevenson (drums) and Ed Kopfman (guitar) have been continuously working together for half their lives in The Alliance—a Wyoming-based band that evolved from punk roots into something more metallic and heavy. The band put in three western tours shortly after they graduated high school, but realized there was something missing.
