As early as '94 he has been involved in the Dutch psytrance scene. Whether he was organizing parties, dj'ing or just lurking around and having fun, this is where Liftshift found his bliss and space for developing his artistic needs. Growing up in a rich musical environment, Bijl started playing guitar at the age of 10.
