Thunder Power is the collective musical outlet of a group of friends that originated in Omaha, Nebraska in 2006. Sometimes they play upbeat, heartfelt pop music. Sometimes they adopt a more artsy, lo-fi aesthetic. Sometimes they opt to loft in the realms of murky, folk-laden ballads or chamber pop soirees. Surface level kitsch or bottom-of-the-lake gems, call it want you will. An attempt at primal unity, the Ouroboros must eat its tail. To date they’ve released four EPs (two solo, two split), with their debut LP in the works for a summer 2011 release date.
