Saucer
Formed in 1995 in Waterloo, the original line-up received critical attention, winning several local contests, and playing Edgefest in 1997. Saucer have released their latest album, entitled Dallaire. The album is named after the Canadian general who witnessed the genocide in Rwanda, and was haunted by the world's lack of reaction. The band found his story heart-breaking and compelling. Naming the album after Dallaire is a tribute, not an intentionally political statement.
