There are a number of artists that share this name. 1. Epoch is an experimental Black Metal band from County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Formed in 1995 by ex-Waylander member Jason R. Barriskill on vocals bass and synth, ex-Mortuary guitarist W. Moan, and drummer 'Fuzz', Epoch's first demos were released on cassette. Two compilations have since been released including an EP entitled 'The Return Of The Black Goat', though the band were never signed to a record label. Lyrics take inspiration from the tales of H.P. Lovecraft and various occult and cosmic themes. The band split up in 2006.
