Gabriel Suovanen born in Stockholm and studied singing at the Sibelius Academy in 1993-94 . He first appeared as Conte Almaviva in Mozart‘s Marriage of Figaro at the Opera Studio of the Sibelius Academy, as Sid in Britten‘s Albert Herring at the Copenhagen Royal Opera and as Guglielmo in Mozart‘s Così fan tutte in a production by the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg. Besides Gabriel Suovanen has won several prizes in distinguished singing competitions, including the Timo Mustakallio singing competition, the International Mirjam Helin Singing Competition and the first Karita Mattila Award.
