Minegishi Minami (峯岸みなみ), nickname "Miichan" (みぃちゃん), born November 15, 1992 in Tokyo, Japan is a Japanese idol singer and actress, as well as captain of idol group AKB48’s Team 4. She is also a member of the sub-unit no3b. One of the founding members of AKB48, Minegishi was originally a member of Team A who she debuted with in 2005. She was moved to Team K after the team shuffle, and then moved to Team B in 2012 until enduring a scandal that had her demoted to Kenkyuusei. She later became captain of the newly reformed Team 4.
