Their hatred of vacuous 24hour party England and the dumb un-politicized breezier swilling life style that surrounded them forged their initial bond. Plus, witnessing the demise of the indie scene as it was infiltrated, bought, and put on a easy jet to Ibiza, has sparked their musical stand. Lion Club are the complete antithesis of landfill indie culture and Hollyoaks guitar pop.
