Best described as a cross-breed of bird, amphibian and mammal, crossing genres from Progressive into Breaks, Psy, Glitch and Dark Minimal. Spoonhead is known for his noisy, unusual call, different for each individual, that combines bellbird-like notes with clicks, cackles, timber-like creaks and groans, layered over heavy pulsating bass sounds and tight kick drums—the unusual possession of 2 voiceboxes enables Spoonhead to perform such a myriad of vocalisations.
