Doobie has been on a musical journey since the age of 2 and continues that journey to this day. He was born to Hubert Powell Jr (Gospel Jazz Great) and Jacquelyn Powell (Powerhouse Vocalist). Music was always a constant motivating force . He went from carrying sunday morning services from the tender age of 7 to carrying his own tune on his critically acclaimed independent albums.
