Lord Jim is the invention of musician-songwriter Jim McCabe. Dark, electric, and lyrically driven, the music of Lord Jim twists a variety of arcane influences to achieve a genre-oblivious, world-surf-post punk thing. But it's not only complicated to categorize, it's also fun. The musical style of Lord Jim can be loosely described as similar to Joe Strummer, David Byrne, and some other artist, but it's not really. Trust Everything is Lord Jim's first studio effort. He is currently recording his next full-length album, scheduled to be released Fall 2012.
